Why do SD's poof?

Or SB's for that matter.

1. SD's

Their wife found out
They got a better deal elsewhere
They had a change of heart
They just got tired of the SB
They realized that SD lifestyle is not for them: maybe it costs them too much money that they don't have or they just didn't realize at first what the word 'sugar' refers to. This one actually happens pretty often.

2 SB's
SD was too ugly, smelled bad, or had missing teeth
SD lied about his age or financial status (happens all the time)
They had a change of heart
They didn't realize what the word 'sugar' really means, he he he
They got a better deal elsewhere
They just wanted to try this sugar thing just once, to be able to say they fulfilled their curiosity
Maybe they are scammers: they got what they wanted, they leave and move on to the next victim
Some are just way too young, and they just flake. I remember flaking on some dates at that age to, so no hard feelings

SB's feel free to add more. I will add as I think of them

What I have learned is that sometimes it's useless trying to figure out why SB's poof, especially those in the younger age group (ie under 25). IRL they're probably just as flaky and flighty as they are in the sugar world.

SD Guru, I disagree about the under 25's being just as flaky and flighty in the real world.
If you look at it from a young woman's perspective, you are about to be putting yourself into a situation that could be VERY physically dangerous. That in itself is enough to make any newbie SB flighty or flaky. It's a scary dog-eat dog world out there. Not that I condone being that way.

I agree safety is a factor. But most women in the younger age group can't even hold a steady job, let alone being a reliable SB. I'm sure you've seen many SB blog stories about their excessive drinking and partying way of life. There are exceptions of course, but I've dealt with enough younger SB's to know what to expect most of the time.

hmm, I agree on the drinking.

Most people under 25 do not have good reliable jobs yet, because they are still in college or just coming out of it. This is a good reason, one of them, why so many SB are college students. We're all broke!

I hate to see you make the mistake of grouping us all together. You might just miss out on someone amazing!!!

I prefer to swim upstream, lol

My point is not necessarily to avoid the younger age group altogether. The point is, if a SD chooses to pursue SB's in that age group, then he should understand that dealing with flaky and flighty behavior comes with the territory.
