Here is another from the memory vault, from one of my old Craigslist ads. I had put the ad there and there comes the following chain of emails (condensed here for you perusal)

Her:Hi I am interested. Are you white?
Me: Yes I am. Tell me more about yourself.
***At this point I had the nagging feeling this would be a waste of time.. not sure why. Etiquette suggests that the person responding to an email should say a few words of introduction, and not just ask me what my race is or isn't.
Her: Well, I am a lady that is 5'3'' 115 lbs and in need of $, live in the Northwest part of town.
Me: Great so what's your schedule like these days. I want to meet for a drink and see if we click, and talk more.
***I always like to meet for a quick meeting at first and observe how they talk and their body language, and usually I can tell within the first 5 minutes if this will work or not
Her: Oh by the way, just to let you know, I have met some men who thought I would sleep with them for free, but I must tell you this will NEVER happen
Me: Not a problem, have had similar arrangements like this a couple of times before. So tell me a bit more about your own past arrangements. I love a good gossip.
***As soon as she said that by the way I knew she was not a real SB but an escort. Just the vibes I as getting from her, even through the email...(weird, I know)
Her: And oh by the way David, I really don't like volleyball emails either, just trying to make a living.
Me: Delete all emails from her, quickly.
***Now was that annoying or what. We all know whats going on here, but I had not advertised for an escort. If I really wanted an escort I would have opened the yellow pages under the section 'Escorts'.
