Was it a setup?

I have seen a number of horror stories from SBs, that had to do with their physical safety. Here is one of my own:

I met this potential SB in Houston, and we agreed that I would pick her up near her apartment since she was car-less, and we would then drive to the restaurant of her choice. She stepped into my car, we went to the restaurant, had a good time and we decided to explore an arrangement. She invited me to her place for coffee and further discussion. So far so good. We drove back to her place, but near the entrance to her apartment was a man in his early thirties just waiting by the hallway. We went into her place and the guy follows us. WTF? Now any hair I may have had in the back of my neck was standing right up, like the cat does when it senses danger. Was I going to get wacked in Houston, TX after surviving a number of other crazier places?
I was eye balling the guy and picked a few targets on his body and was determined to break them both in half if things got hairier. As we walked into the apartment she asked me to stay in the living room. She and her friend (or whatever the hell he was) go into the bedroom and then there was silence for a while. I thought I was going to have to practice my old boxing skills when they came out. It felt weird, like something bad was hanging in the air, or like I was in the presence of criminals.
A few moments later they started arguing behind closed doors and I heard her say 'but it was only dinner' and then she rushes out, I got primed for a fist fight to start within seconds,but then she declares I would have to leave immediately. Which I did. She said her 'roommate' is not cool with this. So it wasn't a setup after all, just a jealous 'roommate'.
Goes to show, that some SB's can be just as dangerous to your health as some SD's can.
I liked the adrenaline rush though...
